How to Install Adobe Type Manager on Windows 7 64-bit
Adobe Type Manager (ATM) is a software program that allows you to use PostScript Type 1 fonts on Windows operating systems. ATM was discontinued by Adobe in 2005, but some users still prefer to use it for its compatibility and quality. However, installing ATM on Windows 7 64-bit can be tricky, as it is not officially supported by Adobe or Microsoft. In this article, we will show you how to install ATM on Windows 7 64-bit using a workaround method.

What You Need
A copy of Adobe Type Manager Deluxe 4.1 or Light 4.1. You can download it from [here] or [here].
A copy of WinRAR or any other software that can extract .rar files.
A copy of Orca, a database editor that can modify Windows Installer files. You can download it from [here].
Step 1: Extract the ATM Installer File
The ATM installer file is a .rar file that contains two files: setup.exe and data1.cab. You need to extract these files to a folder on your computer using WinRAR or any other software that can extract .rar files. For example, you can extract them to C:\ATM.
Step 2: Modify the Setup.exe File
The setup.exe file is a Windows Installer file that checks the operating system version before installing ATM. Since Windows 7 64-bit is not supported by ATM, the setup.exe file will prevent the installation from proceeding. To bypass this check, you need to modify the setup.exe file using Orca.
Open Orca and click File > Open. Browse to the folder where you extracted the ATM installer files and select setup.exe.
In the left pane, click LaunchCondition. In the right pane, right-click the row that says "VersionNT=400 OR Version9X" and select Drop Row.
In the left pane, click InstallExecuteSequence. In the right pane, right-click the row that says "CheckOperatingSystem" and select Drop Row.
Click File > Save and close Orca.
Step 3: Install ATM
Now you are ready to install ATM on your Windows 7 64-bit system. Simply double-click the modified setup.exe file and follow the instructions on the screen. You may need to restart your computer after the installation is complete.
Step 4: Enjoy Using ATM
Congratulations! You have successfully installed ATM on your Windows 7 64-bit system. You can now use PostScript Type 1 fonts on your computer with ease. To manage your fonts, you can use the ATM Control Panel or the ATM Font Management Utility.
